Before drama started unfolding in TLC’s 90 Day Fiance, Emily Bieberly and her fiance Kobe lived abroad in China. Kobe worked as an underwear model. Their one-night-stand ended up getting Emily pregnant and she flew back home to Kansas to have her baby. They maintained a long-distance relationship but because of the pandemic, they were separated for almost two years.

90 Day Fiance star Emily’s parents Lisa Logan and David Bieberly aren’t very much excited about their daughter’s plan.
They vocalized their concerns in the media. Emily’s mother Lisa speaks while at a dinner table, “We all hope it works. We’re all hoping that he’s the great guy that you say he is, but he may be a different person when he comes here.”
She speaks with the show’s producers, “I don’t know that if covid wasn’t here if Kobe would still be coming. My concern is she’s not head over heels in love with him when he comes, or something’s not the same, and she marries him anyways.”
Whereas, her father spoke his mind, “You’re not going to have the wildlife you had in China. He’s going to have to be domesticated very quickly as far as being a dad, taking care of a crazy one-and-a-half-year-old. He’s going to have to be a stay-at-home dad for a while.”
David also shared his thoughts on Kobe’s ability to support his family. Since he is from Cameroon, he won’t be allowed to find a job until six months after his arrival. He tries to invoke discipline and warns the couple, “OK, I’m picking up the tab for six months. I’m supporting everybody for six months, right? One thing is for sure, you better not get pregnant.”
Meanwhile, Emily laughs off her dad’s concern and tells, “I have birth control; I just haven’t taken it yet. It’s fine. We’re not going to have any more kids in this house.”

Lisa Logan is the mother of 90 Day Fiance star Emily Bieberly.
Lisa was born to her father John Lex and Gretchen Buell. Her parents were married for almost 44 years until her father John passed away on 16 August 2012. He died after a courageous battle against cervical tumor/neck surgery and lung cancer at the age of 68.
John was a graduate of Narbonne High School in 1961. He served Valley Crest Landscape Development for 22 years as a General Superintendent. He had previously worked for both Soto and Consolidated Landscaping and retired after 45 years in the landscaping industry.
Lisa’s sister Cathy Lynn Van Wye, brother, John Andrew “Andy” Buell, sister-in-law Amparo, and brother-in-law William Van Wye are among the survivors.
