Food Network’s Christmas Cookie Challenge officially returned for its 5th season as the festive season was slowly kicking in. The show premiered on Food Network on the 11th of November 2021 wherein the viewers got to see five former Christmas Cookie Challenge champions return to see how good they fare against the new set of contestants. Among the returning contestants was a former Christmas Cookie Challenge champion, Lucie Radcliffe.

Meet Lucie Radcliffe, The Food Network’s Cookie Challenge Champion
For the first episode (5th Season) of The Food Network’s Christmas Cookie Challenge, all the contestants including Lucie had to form a Christmas village puzzle out of six perfect interlocking cookies. Their next challenge was to craft the tallest cookie display ever seen. Plus, they had to do all their creations using spices such as chili, paprika, coriander, and cloves.
Previously, Lucie had already appeared in the Cookie Challenge competition in October 2019. The filming of that season was already completed by the end of February 2019, Lucie revealed in her blog. Talking about whether or not she knew her competitors beforehand, she said, “Nope! But it was an awesome surprise when I found out I was competing against Pete from @petey_cake — we already knew each other over Instagram! Stephen, Lourdes, and Sarahkay were also all such lovely and talented people, and our group has kept in touch ever since.”
In her blog, Lucie also revealed that the show is not scripted or rigged. She told that all the challenges and time limits viewers saw were real.
