Mattew Mawhinney who arrived on Netflix’s show ‘Too Hot To Handle’ as ‘Jackson’ had already made headlines in 2021. He was among the three Netflix’s casts who were arrested for inappropriate behavior against British airlines crew on their way to London from Miami.
He and two other casts Beaux Greenslade and Harry Johnson were arrested by eight police officers during an in-flight bust-up. They were escorted off the British Airways jet on touchdown at Heathrow. They were taken into custody and later released pending police inquiries.
The group allegedly was getting drunk following the filming. They then boarded Flight BA208 to Heathrow and kept drinking among fellow passengers in the World Traveller cabin. The group was allegedly spotted “running amok” calling stewardess “c****” doing press-ups in the galley, ignoring Covid rules, and slamming and banging the toilet doors.
Their behavior made caption to come out of the cockpit and were banned further alcohol.
One passenger witness confirmed to The Sun, “The group were drunk and behaved in an abhorrent fashion at 30,000ft.” They were asked to go back to their seats and put on the masks but the group refused. When Matthew was ordered to calm down he responded, “F*** you bitch don’t you know who my mum is? Go f*cking look up who I am, my mother is the Baroness of Scotland.”
Later, each of them was fined £2000 for their behavior. Netflix had said to have frozen their fun as a result of the incident.
