In February 2022, Caitlin took to Instagram to announce that she was one of the additional couples who actually found love in the show. She matched with Joey Miller and also got engaged to him on the show.

She wrote on her IG post, “Watching the couples meet in the pods, fall in love and experience their first reveal transported me right back to that place. What you didn’t see is that I also found love in the pods and left the show with a fiancé. @millerj5001 and I had an amazing summer and fall with the opportunity to travel, meet each other’s families, and build a genuine relationship without the cameras and crew.”

But, the pair chose to go separate ways and ended their engagement. They chose to remain friends and she insisted that Joey would always hold a special place in her heart. Caitlin also showed appreciation towards the show for providing with the opportunity to build genuine connections and to make her able to learn about her herself, who she was, and what she wanted to be as a person.

Caitlin was engaged to former major league baseball prospect Tyler Herron. They were dating each other at least since 2014. Tyler made his debut on her Facebook in August of the same year. We support each other’s dreams, and even if we are apart way more than we are together we know that WE are worth it. I love you Tyler and I wouldn’t be able to do this crazy life with anyone else.”

Sadly, Caitlin’s fiance died on 22 October 2021. But, it remains unclear whether they were still engaged at that time or not.
