Virginia Thomas Text Exchanges With Mark Meadows
CNN reported, The House Select Committee investigated the January 6 riot and got its hands on the 29 text messages exchange between Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and, Virginia “Gini” Thomas, a conservative activist and the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. It was confirmed to the outlet by sources familiar with the messages.
The sources also shared that these text messages between the two took place in early November 2020 and mid-January 2021. Virginia revealed that she attended the pro-trump rally that preceded the US Capitol attack on 6 January 2021. However, she claimed that she “played no role” in planning the riot.
CNN reviewed the text messages which showed Virginia pleading with Mark to continue the fight to overturn the election results. On 10 November 2020, Virginia wrote, “Help This Great President stand firm, Mark!!! … You are the leader, with him, who is standing for America’s constitutional governance at the precipice. The majority knows Biden and the Left is attempting the greatest Heist of our History.”
Virginia was in touch with Meadows regularly to encourage him to pursue voting fraud charges and seek to prevent the election from being certified. Meadows was quick to answer. On the same day, Mark responded, “I will stand firm. We will fight until there is no fight left. Our country is too precious to give up on. Thanks for all you do.”
Mark added, “This is a fight of good versus evil. Evil always looks like the victor until the King of Kings triumphs. Do not grow weary in well-doing. The fight continues. I have staked my career on it. Well at least my time in DC on it.”
On 19 November 2020, Virginia wrote to Mark, “Sounds like Sidney and her team are getting inundated with evidence of fraud. Make a plan. Release the Kraken and save us from the left taking America down.”
In the text, she also shared that she was angry with then-Vice President Mike Pence for not taking the steps necessary to block the certification of the election results.
Virginia wrote, “We are living through what feels like the end of America. Most of us are disgusted with the VP and are in a listening mode to see where to fight with our teams. Those who attacked the Capitol are not representative of our great teams of patriots for DJT!! Amazing times. The end of Liberty.”
The text messages gained interest because the committee asked Mark in a subpoena to turn over “both documents and your deposition testimony regarding these and other matters that are within the scope of the committee’s activity.” Mark turned over thousands of text messages before he stopped co-operating with the committee.
Virginia and Mark have been long-time friends. They have been active in conservative causes for decades.

Why Did Virginia Thomas Ask Anita Hall To Apologize?
In 2010, Justice Claren’s confirmation hearing in 1991, lawyer Anita Hill accused her husband of sexual harassment when she worked for him in the U.S. Department of Education and the Equal Opportunity Commission.
Virginia surprisingly called Anita and asked her to apologize to her husband. Anita asked the FBI to investigate believing it was some kind of prank. Anita spoke with The Times regarding the incident and shared, “I appreciate that no offense was intended, but she can’t ask for an apology without suggesting that I did something wrong, and that is offensive.”
