Who Are Chapel Hart Members?
Originally named Hyperphlyy, Chapel Hart, an all-girl trio band from Mississippi, composed of three females from Pearl River County who were not only band members but also a family. They arrived at the stage of America’s Got Talent 2022 with their original song “You Can Have Him, Jolene”. Most viewers at home as well as the judges agreed that their electrifying performance sounded like a show rather than an audition.
It pushed judge Simon Cowell to ask the question, did they try to get signed in their home state? Chapel Hart shared that they have been trying but the country music doesn’t look like them so they had problems landing a record deal. However, it is all bound to change at the stage of AGT because they earned a “Golden Buzzer” from all four judges (who had already used theirs), and the show’s host Terry Crews sent them directly to the live semi-finals.
Talking more about Chapel Hart, the group was admitted into CMT’s Next Women of Country in 2021. This organization has a history of supporting aspiring female country musicians like Kelsea Ballerini, Ashley McBride, and Gabby Barrett, to mention a few. With fans all over the world, this Mississippi trio’s music has earned them the titles of “International Group of the Year” and “International Song of the Year” in Scotland for the song “You Can Have Him, Jolene.”

Meet Chapel Hart Member, Danica Hart
Danica Hart holds the title of Mississippi Songwriter of the Year for 2020 and Danica is known for her work on the Grammy-nominated Spyboy album by New Orleans Mardi Gras Indian funk band, Cha Wa. She also won the 2020 Boswell Media Songwriter of the Year Competition with the song “Made for Me.”
Besides working being a lead singer of the band, Danica was a former mental health technician who lost her job and moved to New Orleans to “give music a try.”
“We started as a duo on Royal Street, and I don’t think we realized how much money we were making as street performers,” said Danica Hart to BizNewOrleans. “But we were actually doing really well. We think that the country music industry has opened up over the last few years, so, hopefully, by the time we burst through the doors, our color or race won’t be much of an issue and the focus will be on our music and live performances and changing lives.”

Meet Chapel Hart Member, Trea Swindle
Trea Swindle is the cousin of Danica Hart. Danica and Trea had been singing together since they were toddlers in Poplarville.
Trea formerly worked as a correction officer at Pearl River County Jail. Trea studied Physics and Chinese at the University of Mississippi. She graduated as a class of 2008 from Poplarville High School.
In 2011, Trea couldn’t get a ride from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport back to Poplarville, Mississippi, so she headed to New Orleans instead and decided to stay.
In 2014, when Danica lost her job as mental health technician, Trea and met Danica met in New Orleans. They started out as a duo. They were soon busking in the French Quarter together for tips. Later, Devynn joined the band after losing her job.
