American actor Lance Kerwin is no more. Known primarily for his work in television and film during his childhood and teen years in the 1970s, he enacted lead roles in the TV series James at 15 (1977-1978), and the made-for-TV films The Loneliest Runner (1976) and Salem’s Lot (1979). He gave up acting in the mid-1990s but returned to the screen in 2022 for The Wind & the Reckoning. A lot happened in his life in between. Actor Lance Kerwin who was born on 6 November 1960 was 62 when he passed on 24 January 2023. It was his daughter Savanah who announced his death in a Facebook post a day later. The cause of death, however, was not provided. “I am so sorry to those we have not been able to reach out to personally to notify but Lance Kerwin passed away yesterday morning,” the actor’s daughter wrote next to a family picture. In the coming weeks, she said, she will be sharing more information about afterlife ceremonies. And thus she concluded this with “He loved each and every one of you.”
Lance is survived by more kids other than Savanah. But, it seems he was married to no one at the time. Even his marriage with Yvonne had likely come to an end before that. The deceased relationship status on Facebook read ‘single’ while Yvonne read “in a relationship”.
Prior to this, Yvonne was seen wishing Lance a “Happy Anniversary Babe” on 9 October 2019. “19 years and counting”, she wrote next to a picture of them together.
Before Yvonne, Lance was married to Kristen Lansdale and Savanah was the only child that came from this marriage.

In addition to Savannah Paige Kerwin, Lance Kerwin is survived by children Fox, Terah, Kailani, and Justus. The latter three are Lance and Yvonne’s kids.
Savanah, at the time of this writing, was in a relationship with Connor Dowd.
Fox, on IG @foxxyboxy_, 4 posts went around as a Desmond and he preferred the pronouns he/him.
Terah Kerwin turned 18 years old on 21 January 2023 and Kailani Marina Kerwin, AKA Kai, turned 14 years old on 12 December 2022. Kailani was a sixth-grader back in August 2019.
The youngest of all is Justus, a boy, and he turned 11 years old on 8 March 2022.
It was not known if any of these kids did think or have thought of pursuing acting as a career like their father.
Lance, on the other hand, had gotten his start in acting early on through his mother, who worked as a booking agent, and his father, who worked as an acting coach.
In his later years though, Lance also worked as a pastor at Calvary Chapel in Kapaa, Hawaii, and a program leader at U-Turn for Christ, a drug and alcohol rehab organization.
Around 2006, the Southern California native was also serving with the U-Turn for Christ ministry located on the small island of Kauai, Hawaii.
Lake Elsinore, California born and raised Lance died at his home in San Clemente, California.

More about her other jobs/career was unknown so far. But, it had been reported that she and Lance pled guilty to falsifying documents to obtain state medical assistance in Hawaii after Lance neglected to report his ownership of three properties on the mainland. Late Lance following this charge, was sentenced to five years probation and 300 hours of community service. He also publicly apologized afterward.
It was after this, a GoFundMe campaign was created to help Lance make a return to acting in 2021.
