The Voice: Who Are Ryley Tate Wilson Parents?
Ryley’s performance of Dancing On My Own amazed all 4 judges, with Kelly Clarkson being the first to turn her hair, followed by Niall Horan, Blake Shelton, and then Chance the Rapper. Ryler, admittedly, was “pretty nervous” during the performance, but the judges said he did not look nervous at all. When asked about his musical influences, Ryler said, “I love Steve Lacy and Ritt Momney. I love Frank Ocean, so a lot of R&B influences.”
Ryley’s audition got Niall saying “Ryley, my head nearly exploded. That was the best audition we’ve seen here by a long shot.” Kelly chimed in and said, “I pushed light years before the others. I heard your tone, and I was like ‘It’s incredible.’ Your voice is insane! I love working with young people. Actually, I win a lot of times with young talent… I think that I could be the best coach for you.”
Blake went as far as to say: ‘…I’ve been coaching here for 23 seasons, and I’ve won with all kinds of artists. You pick me as your coach, and I will quit coaching after this season.’ Chance the Rapper noted Ryley’s interest in R&B and thought he could be a good fit in his team. “You’re insanely talented, dude… What really caught me was the ending where you kind of just improvised with the runs and really just felt the song out. I love how controlled the runs are. It felt very experimental R&B like you said, like Steve Lacy,” he told Ryley.
However, the March 13th episode of The Voice 23 ended without showing who did Ryley choose as his coach. Fans have to tune in to NBC on coming Monday and Tuesday to find out who Ryley picks as a mentor.
Talking more about the teen superstar, he had already released the song called “Anna Magdelena” in 2022 before he came out to audition at The Voice.
