Our star, Josué started as a part of the Blue Team which included his teammates César Morales, John Guts, Layla Neri, Leslie Gallardo, and Sandy Padilla. Quickly, he then emerged as one of the strongest players on his team and was sent to the season’s very first Purge alongside John and Sandy.
Fortunately, he survived the purge and came back to the team to lead them to victory in the second challenge. So, five rounds into the game, he and Leslie were the only remaining members of their camp, forced to join the orange team for the rest of the season.
Thereafter, he limited his interactions with his once-opponents — which was acknowledged by many so much so that they wanted to see him in the finals and were willing to risk their own elimination for the same.
Thus, for the sixth purge, his teammates assured him that he won’t be picked. But even if they did, Josué let everyone know that he had already secured his safe passage by agreeing to sabotage the task before for immunity from being sent to the elimination round.
However, after Josué and the remaining cast members decided to play as a team of five for the final challenge and won, it was revealed that Josué had never agreed to accept sabotage for money. This meant, he was able to take home 247 thousand pesos.
On the other hand, Gina, Adrián, and Leslie took 247,000, 327,000, and 297,000 pesos respectively.

After winning Law of the Jungle, Josué Villanueva today has returned to his life as a professional parkour athlete and instructor. Infact, he seems to have stepped up his game with the boot of confidence.

According to Josué, he first discovered parkour through some friends and by searching the internet. Thereafter, he practiced a ton, during which he even dislocated his shoulder during a jack press as he slipped backward (his first serious injury). No wonder, he fantasizes to have the power of regeneration.
So, as for the move he had the hardest time mastering was backflip. Now, he’s set on doing the Monkey gainer!
“Parkour for me means the guideline that marked my life — seek growth in every aspect, seek the best version of myself, that there is not only one option, and even if it sounds strange to me, parkour is a key to change the world for the better,” he said.
Also, now, Josué’s a reality star. He’s stepped into the reality TV world through Law of the Jungle, and we might see more of him in near future.

When Josué’s not jumping around, he likes to dance, perform, listen to rock, metal, and rap, and work at his small carpentry workshop.
His favorite food is Chicken rice and his spirit animal is the Wolf.
