All Time Low’s frontman, Alex Gaskarth, met his wife, Lisa Ruocco, while they were in high school. However, it was Lisa’s best friend, Samantha, who first dated Alex.
“Over that time, Alex and I became much closer,” Lisa said after their engagement in February 2016. “Sam’s not too bummed out. I arranged for us to go on a double date to a movie. After, we went to Friendly’s—you know, the stuff you do when you’re in high school. I was making flirty eyes with Lisa over the table,” she added.
The lovebirds were often separated due to Alex’s touring schedule and Lisa’s career. “There was always a magnetic pull. We always found each other again,” Alex said.
A month after their engagement, the duo exchanged wedding vows in front of their family and friends in an old church in downtown Baltimore on April 9, 2016.
