Vanessa Reiser recently made headlines after filing a restraining order against her ex-fiance Luis Ruelas. They were reportedly in a relationship for two years which ended in 2020 and claimed at the time he would become incensed if they did not have enough sex. The lawsuit was eventually settled out of court for undisclosed terms.
Now the exes are again making headlines. So, who is Vanessa? Does she have a new husband? What is her job? Here’s what we know about her.
Meet Vanessa Reiser, Luis Ruelas Ex
Vanessa Reiser, the ex-fiancée of Luis “Louie” Ruelas, has requested a restraining order against the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star over allegations that he hired a private eye to “stalk her.” In a recent interview, Vanessa claimed she had learned that one of her female patients had probably been hired to “spy” on her.
Page Six, during an exclusive interview with her lawyer Douglas Anton, learned that the strange sessions started in February. Under a false name, the woman allegedly saw Vanessa three or four times and inexplicably inquired about the therapist’s prior romantic involvement with Ruelas each time.
Douglas also shared that the allegedly strange questions to his client included, “Do you still love Luis?” “How was it with your abuser?” , “Would you want to be with [Ruelas] if [he] were to leave [Teresa Giudice] and show any regret?”
“It was weird that she kept asking all of this information that if Luis ever left his wife and he was unhappy, would she ever take him back,” Douglas, noting that his client would allegedly “steer away from the subject and not so much talk about it.”
Vanessa thought the questions were intrusive, but her lawyer says that because her previous relationship with Luis is widely known online, they didn’t instantly raise red flags. Page Six broke the exclusive story in April 2021 that the therapist, who dated the NJ-based billionaire from 2018 to 2020, had once accused him in a lawsuit of “punishing” her if she did not comply with his sexual demands and made other heinous charges.
When one of the prepaid cards Vanessa supplied for payment did not process, she made the decision to sue her suspect patient. She hired Douglas to submit a collections request after attempting to collect the payments for 30 days without success. It was at this point, the Douglas told Page Six, that he and his staff discovered the woman was apparently not a real patient after all, and had been using a fictitious name throughout her meetings.
According to the New Jersey-based lawyer, his “brilliant” team discovered the woman’s real name by using the address she provided, which supposedly connected her to a list of Bo Dietl’s employees. Bo’s name has come up in the recent season of RHONJ because Luis claimed the PI is one of his “best friends” and allegedly brought him “information” on the cast.
However, Bo then publicly denied that he was hired to investigate any of the NJ Housewives.
The lawyer told Page Six that he doesn’t have any “proof” that Luis hired Bo – and therefore his employee – to “stalk” his client but said they hope the reality star will address the allegations at an upcoming hearing for their restraining order.
“Right now [Vanessa is] concerned that it was [Luis behind the woman’s visits] – and again I’m going by the questions – he is unhappy in his current situation and wanted to see if Vanessa would ever pay him the time of day,” Douglas revealed to PageSix.
Douglas also stated that he and Vanessa are not seeking to charge Luis with any crimes since they don’t want to “make a mountain out of a molehill.” They merely desire an explanation for why he reportedly engaged the PI and an amicable breakup.
The NJ-based lawyer added to Vanessa, “She has been exceedingly happy living her life. She has a wonderful gentleman in her life and everything is going well. Her practice is going well. Her move to Jersey is just a wonderful thing and she didn’t want this at all.”
Who Is Vanessa Reiser Husband?
Speaking of “wonderful gentleman” Vanessa Reiser reportedly is dating someone else right now but they aren’t married. However, she still states that she is “single” on her Facebook relationship status. This could suggest that she is not ready to go public about her recent romantic endeavor although she may’ve revealed her man on her social.
