sMothered Catherine Vigorito was married to her husband Todd Vigorito who is the father of her daughter and co-star Gabriella Vigorito. Back in 2003, when Catherine published a collection of inspirational columns called “A New You: Words to Soothe the Mind, Body and Spirit.
She spoke about her husband and children with The Reporter. At the time of the interview, Lauren her older daughter was 4 years old whereas Gabriella was only 2.
“My life really began when I had these children,” Catherine told the outlet at the time. “When I started writing the column, I was single, and then I met my husband (Todd Vigorito) and married him a year later. And then Lauren Grace came along a year after that, and Gabriella came 19 months later. My life changed all of a sudden.”

Catherine, the daughter of Louis and Elise Laoue Galasso, hailed from New Haven. She has two brothers the late Francis J Galasso and Joseph (Pamela) Galasso of Cheshire and two sisters Louise (Shraga) Danishevsky of Hamden, Elise (William) DeMayo of East Haven.
Having grown up on the East Coast, Catherine, now 56, is a loving mother of three kids. Catherine has a really special and deep bond with Gabriella, even if her ties with her other two kids, Lauren and Sophia, are unquestionably close. During an interview, Catherine said she had a deeper emotional connection to Gabriella than she has with her other kids. Catherine developed a successful career over 12 years as an account executive for Clear Channel Radio by showcasing her commitment and work ethic. Nevertheless, Catherine’s goals went beyond her work in radio, and she wrote her first book, “The Treasure of a New You: Transformation for Your Heart and Soul,” released in 1998.
With the publication of her third book, “The Open Window: 8 Weeks to Creating an Extraordinary Life,” in 2012, she carried on sharing her wisdom.
Clinton resident Catherine has not only achieved literary success but has also developed into a nationally syndicated writer of a weekly newspaper column. Her twenty-year devotion to encouraging and motivating others has earned her respect in the community. In addition to her writing, Catherine works as a product designer for QVC, which adds to her diverse background.
Her company, A New You Worldwide, has become well-known throughout the world and offers a variety of product lines, such as the well-known “Born in Grace” line and “Catherine’s Garden Stakes.”
