Was Mark Anderson Previously Married To Kelsey’s Mum?
Yes, Kelsey Anderson’s mother Denise Anderson was married to Mark Anderson, the new single in Golden Bachelorette. Sadly, Denise passed away on 11 February 2018, leaving Kelsey and another member of the family heartbroken.
Denise was born in Fort Ord, California, on December 24, 1964. 2011 saw her receive a cancer diagnosis. She experienced a few years of remission, but regrettably, the condition returned. The family decided to live in Louisiana because of its closeness to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, where Denise received treatment. The disease was under control for around two years, at which point it returned to her bones and spread to other organs.
In late 2017, Denise’s doctors gave her three to six months to live, and she passed away under hospice care.
“She’s an awesome guardian angel,” Kelsey’s brother Matthew said about their mom. “She’s the reason I play. I wanted to play to show everybody how strong my mom was and how strong she showed me I could be. My mom was a huge badass. She was the funniest, sweetest, most kind, most selfless person I ever met. I can’t wait to see her again, but first I kind of want to make her proud here.”

As a senior, Matthew was honored by the Louisiana Football Coaches Association as a first-team all-state selection. He was also named to the all-composite team, which consisted of the best players from Class 1A through Class 5A. In addition, he made the USA Today All-Louisiana squad. Anderson captained the chess team and played tennis for the Wampus Cats in addition to leading Leesville to a 10-2 record as a junior.
On April 17, 1998, Kelsey was born. Her age is twenty-five as of 2023. Kelsey is employed with LANDMARK CONSULTING LLC as a project assistant. She started working there in September 2022.
