“Adam’s not really holding eye contact with Polly – I haven’t seen him compliment her yet. It’s a bit of a no-go yet” Alfie remarked who, after giving the bride his candid assessment of her husband, claimed that Adam had “given nothing.”
Afterward, Alfie and Adam had a private conversation in which Alfie revealed to Adam that he had “reservations” about Adam’s attraction to Polly. The bride wasn’t his “usual type,” the groom revealed, and Alfie added in the VT that this relationship might “get the chop.”
Following their most recent conversation, Alfie went to Polly for a follow-up conversation. Polly refrained from crying as Adam’s remarks were conveyed to her. After remarking to his best buddy Rich that he didn’t feel a “wow factor” from Polly, Adam revealed to him that their personalities weren’t a good fit.
In an interview before the wedding, he disclosed that he was looking for a gorgeous brunette who looked like Megan Fox to go down the aisle.
