Garrett, a quantum scientist was caught off guard in episode two of the recently launched Netflix series when his date stated she preferred not to reveal her mother’s name since it “gives away a part of how I look.”
Garrett went on to say that he had only ever dated white women and that he thought 30-year-old Taylor, a sustainable energy policy specialist, was concealing other aspects of her identity.

Taylor Krause appeared on Netflix’s Love Is Blind in season 7. Although Taylor is no stranger to experiments, she has never seen one quite like Love Is Blind. Taylor has been putting practically everything else in her life before dating for the past few years, believing that she should “build herself up first” before committing to a committed relationship.
Taylor is now prepared to go from her love of me time to “we time” for a nice, emotionally astute, and inquisitive guy. Though she favors big, athletic males, what matters most is what’s on the inside. She declares, “Loving me for my mind is the key to my heart.”
Garrett and Taylor have already been named the cutest couple in the Love is Blind season 7 ensemble after just one week of shows. When Taylor, an energy policy consultant, and Garrett, a quantum physicist, first meet in the pods, they click right away and become close friends over anything from basketball to shared geeky interests.
The couple overcomes an early setback amid a debate about Taylor’s ethnicity to become one of the most successful engaged pairs of the season. Fans are curious as to whether Garrett and Taylor followed their feelings more than their heads on their path to marriage as the October 23 season finale approaches.
Is Taylor Krause Still With Garrett?
Until the last episode airs on Wednesday, October 23, we won’t know if Garrett Josemans and Taylor Krause say “I do,” or if they even make it down the aisle. Regretfully, there are also little hints on the status of their relationship on social media. No publicly visible Venmo requests, no postings from a shared location. Thus, we really need to wait and see.
Taylor and Garrett Josemans had a lot in common, and they discovered love in the pods. Science was the first area of commonality between them. Taylor, a physicist, and Garrett soon began flirting in a way that was specific to their occupations. Surprisingly enough, every one of them has a tattoo that symbolizes their particular specialization.
Garrett has a tattoo of a quantum equation on the back of his right arm, whereas Taylor has a tattoo of the hydrogen symbol on her wrist. They often referred to their love of science as “nerdy.” Taylor even made a joke in the pods about Garrett “talking dirty” to her when they were discussing science.
They had a lone bump in the road, appearing to click right away. Garrett grew quite defensive after Taylor hinted that she didn’t want to tell her mother’s name because she didn’t want him to know her ethnicity and what she could look like. He informed her in his reply that her remarks were “calculated.” She had a quality that he liked, but he couldn’t help but wonder, “What’s she hiding?” because of her secrecy.
“I guess it’s hard to hear that,” was her reply. However, they moved past it and eventually became engaged.
Garrett and Taylor were ecstatic to see each other when they got there, especially Garrett, who was in awe of his new fiancée’s beauty.
On season seven of Love Is Blind, Taylor and Garrett were among the first couples to become engaged. When Garrett sent her favorite flowers and her favorite bouquet, the two became incredibly vulnerable. “It’s like every molecule of me just wants to come through this wall and be with you,” he says. “Our bodies are telling us that we want to be together. We just had to make sure our heads didn’t get in the way.”
The two jumped into each other’s arms even after the disclosure of their faces. Everything was going great on their trip to Cabo until the teases for the next episodes showed that Garrett’s former partner had texted him again, which may escalate the situation.

Taylor possesses specialized knowledge in the creation and utilization of clean hydrogen, as well as its implementation in the decarbonization of heavy industries.
Additionally, she is a coalition management strategist and government affairs specialist who focuses on federal renewable energy and climate policy. Taylor came to RMI from Washington, D.C.-based clean energy clientele-focused government relations consulting firm Boundary Stone Partners, where she provided advice on a wide range of clean energy technology subjects.

Taylor described her mother as “an angel and a gangster at the same time,” extolling her virtues.
