2022 has been a great year for the British-Nigerian actor, Chukwudi Iwuji, so far. Born in Nigeria, Chukwudi’s parents sent him to a boarding school in England as they had to work in Ethiopia for the United Nations. He completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. Upon the completion of his education, Chukwudi returned to the United Kingdom and dabbled in theatre work.
As of this writing, Chukwudi has worked on stage for the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal National Theatre, the Old Vic, The Comedy Theatre, and Delacorte Theatre. Some of his known theatre works are Richard III, Welcome to Thebes, The Misanthrope, This England: The Histories, Othello, among others.
