Annabel Vartanian first met her future spouse Andrew Jeffries when she was just a child on Fishers Island, Southold, New York. The two then went on to reunite as adults while taking the ferry one weekend. So, fast-forward to years of dating, on September 21, 2013, Annabel and Andrew went on to tie the knot right on the place they first met each other — Fishers Island.
Recalling their wedding, Annabel shared, “I always wanted to get married on my front lawn with a big tent.” And luckily, her dream came true. Furthermore, the were multiple vendors at the ceremony who made a special effort to come to the island. Even special ferries were scheduled for them and their supplies, and a new entrance to the property was created by cutting an opening through a privet hedge.
After exchanging vows at St. John’s church, the duo followed the reception in the summer of Annabel’s parents. The newlyweds then took a wedding trip to Paris and the Maldives before returning to their normal life in NY.
Surprisingly, reports mentioned that Annabe and Andrew returned to their summer residence on Fishers Island on their wedding day.

Speaking of Andrew’s mother, Susan worked as the director of public relations at a company in New York. She went to Carrollton Convent of the Sacred Heart in Coconut Grove, Fla, AZ, Marymount College in Tarrytown, N. Y., and Finch College and later, graduated from Boston University.
