Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse star Brad James married actress Keshia Knight Pulliam in September 2021 and gave his fans one more reason to love him even more. The two apparently began dating in 2019 after meeting on the set of a TV movie. And so Keshia became Brad James’s first wife.

It was not the large destination wedding Brad James and Keshia Pulliam were originally planning that they married in. Instead, it was “intimate, whimsical, full of love, laughter, and joy… Absolutely perfect!!” Brad’s first and likely only wife gushed later about it.
Not a rookie in the dating game, Brad dated a good number of people before finally deciding to make Keshia his wife.
He romanced the TLC singer and ex-girlfriend Rozonda Chilli Thomas in 2015. Despite the age gap, his relationship with her was such that he even went to her son’s high school graduation. But, the bond of course concluded in 2016 and the duo never really said anything about it.
Before Chilli, Brad had just as a genuine relationship with Jasmine Burke. But, even she did not turn up to be his wife.

The world also witnessed Brad James and his wife Keisha announce the pregnancy news in late 2022. In an appearance on the Tamron Hall Show, the latter shared that she had not been hiding the news of them expecting their first child together.
Yet, it is certainly not Keisha’s first time becoming a parent. She shares a daughter (Ella) with her ex-husband, retired NFL player Edgerton “Ed” Hartwell. They were married from January 2016 until 2018.
As for Brad, he also mentioned having four daughters. He referred to “Babydoll” and “Ellaboo” as two of his four daughters.
Ellaboo should be Ella Grace Pulliam, Keisha’s daughter, and his stepdaughter. Born likely in January 2018, Ella turned 5 in 2023. She even held an Instagram account of her own, where she claimed to love “dolls, s’mores, and her family”. The account was of course managed by her mommy.

How Did Brad James And Keshia Pulliam Meet?
Before this, Keisha first announced that she and Brad were engaged in December 2020. When ET talked to her in September of the next year she opened up about meeting Brad on the set of the TV movie Pride & Prejudice: Atlanta and dating soon after. While working in the same scenes, she said, they just hit it off. From what she shared, it was not anything either one of them was looking for. But, because they both happened to be ready and in the right place in their life, things blossomed into the reality it is today.
Keisha, during this interview, also promised that she will share the events that inspired their change of plans.

Before rising to fame for his role as Todd on the comedy series For Better or Worse, Brad James appeared in episodes of Meet the Browns, The Vampire Diaries, Let’s Stay Together, Teen Wolf, One Tree Hill, Single Ladies, and a few others. Afterward, he was seen in episodes of Devious Maids, Hart of Dixie, Born Again Virgin, NCIS: New Orleans, The New Edition Story, and Underground. He played Calvin Hastings, the main cast of Superstition (2017 – 2018). In 2019, he portrayed the recurring role of professor Haygood in Season 1 of American Soul. Between 2019 and 2022, he again landed a main cast role (of Cameron Sanders, Jr. ) in A House Divided.
