The most recent image of Cameron on Stetson’s Instagram page was taken on the same day she turned 23 in 2021. The Georgia quarterback celebrated his girlfriend’s special day with a heartfelt dedication and a number of priceless pictures of the two.
On the post, he wished his girlfriend, “Happy birthday sweetheart! This past year has been a roller coaster for both of us and I thank God that we were by each other’s side through it all. Now let’s go grab some good food and celebrate. #lilshawty #dm #fun.”
The moment Stetson made the transition from walk-on to record-breaking Bulldogs starter, Cameron was the first to congratulate him. She gushed: “All ya needed was a chance. So so proud of you Stet!”
Stentson hasn’t posted anything that is related to Cameron for nearly two years now.
In October 1997, Stentson Bennett, a quarterback for the Georgia Bulldogs, was born in Atlanta. He spent several years playing football in high school before enrolling as a walk-on at Georgia in his first year and later transferring to Jones County Junior College. Georgia, on the other hand, was in need of a backup quarterback and gave Stetson a scholarship.
Moreover, he was promoted to the team’s backup quarterback position. After winning the championship in 1980, Stetson guided the squad to their first National Championship victory in almost 40 years in January 2022. The team won its second consecutive championship in January 2023.
In addition, Stentson now appears to be destined to play in the NFL in 2023. And Broderick Jones, an offensive tackle for Georgia, summed up Stetson’s effect on the group over the previous two years.
He said: “He’s at the top – the very top. Stetson has done so much for this program it’s crazy. All the way from giving [the defense] scout looks to playing to throwing game-winning balls. He’s done everything he could at the University of Georgia.”
Georgia head coach Kirby Smart added: “People slept on Stetson Bennett for a long time. He needs an opportunity to play for a long time at the next level.”

Another highlight for her while at UGA was working in professor Kevin McCully’s Non-Invasive Exercise Muscle Physiology Lab. There they studied the endurance and mitochondrial capacities of different muscles. During her time in the lab, she had the opportunity to take on her own project. She presented at the CURO Research Symposium and traveled with the rest of the lab to Greenville, South Carolina, for the Southeast Conference of the American College of Sports Medicine.
Cameron also served as an active member of UGA’s MedLife, and was a member of the Health Preprofessional Honor Society, Alpha Epsilon Delta. Besides her studies, she is also passionate about finding the answers to questions that could help improve the lives of others.
