Coree And Jeff On Race To Survive NZ
When father-of-two Donald “Jeff” Watterson Jr and Coree Woltering first met, they were from Indiana and Tennessee, respectively. Coree accepted Jeff’s offer to teach his running. As an openly gay athlete with a ton of running expertise, Coree is currently making waves in the ultra-sports sector. The two are hoping that their prepared endurance will help them win this match.
To win $500,000, competitors in the show must rely on a mix of endurance racing, survival abilities, and instinct as they go 150 miles through the most difficult terrain in New Zealand. There will be nine competitions. The team that crosses the finish line last in each leg of the race will be eliminated.
Additionally, Woltering won two Starved Rock Country Marathons. In addition to being available for streaming on Peacock and Hulu Premium, the show airs on the USA Network.
Coree And Jeff Relationship Status
Jeff is married to his wife Dee Watterson. They have been happily married since November 2003. In 2021, on their 18th wedding anniversary, Jeff wrote, “Happy anniversary to this wonderful human. I say wonderful because she has put up with me for 18 years and she has done it willingly! We got to celebrate last weekend relaxing, hiking and eating good food! Thanks for doing life with me. He is well-known for running ultramarathons, which are races longer than a marathon. In record time, he finished the approximately 1,200-mile Wisconsin Ice Age Trail. It took him 21 days, 13 hours, and 35 minutes to complete the stretch. To raise more than $10,000 for small businesses during the COVID-19 outbreak, Jeff ran 204.5 kilometers in 12 days down every street in Naplate and Ottawa.
Coree has also ventured into many events and trails across diverse locations, such as Fiji, the Ice Age Trail, the Pinhoti Trail, and the Long Trail.
“I spent many years of my life looking at pace clocks in the pool and checking watches doing laps on the track,” said Coree. “Trail running felt like the first time I could just be moving my body outdoors and not super concerned about the watch.”
