On 27 August 2023, RHONY Brynn while being her usual self, i.e., most vocal about wanting to be paired up, talked about one of her real suitors on the show. The S14E07 titled “You Wreath What You Sow” showed Brynn running into her ex, Gideon Lang-Laddie, at a car dealership. Gideon was seen telling the car salesman that Brynn was “trouble”. Eventually, the two exes appeared to be wanting to use their chance meetup to make up for lost time.
In between scenes of them interacting, Brynn explained to viewers what caused them to end their engagement. She said she and him were together for a total of five years and when Gideon proposed, they were actually broken up and she was seeing someone else. “The worst thing you’ll ever have to do is call your boyfriend and tell him that you’re engaged to someone else,” she said in a confessional.
Brynn did not specify how long she and Gideon were engaged, but she said he was a “Prince Charming” during their relationship. She gushed about his gentleman-like gestures of opening the door for her and paying the dinner bills on every outing. Gideon also recalled seeing her for the first time on Tinder. “My recollection is that you were the most beautiful person I’d ever seen in my life,” Gideon told Brynn at the dealership. The two met on Tinder of course.

Seeing them together, RHONY fans started rooting for the couple to get back together. Some were even quick to comment that Brynn made a huge mistake in letting Gideon go. Several watchers commented on the exes’s sweet exchange, especially about how Brynn had nothing negative to say about their breakup. People also naturally advised her to stop searching for her husband and get back with her “adorable” ex. However, it is not yet known if that is a possibility for the two.

When Sir Hugh Laddie, a retired high court judge in London and professor at the University College of London, passed away on 29 November 2008 at the age of 62, his obituary was actually published in the Guardian UK. On it, they wrote Sir Hugh was one of the exclusive breed, one of the few lawyers who could claim to have contributed significantly to the development of the practice of the law. Gideon’s father was born into a legal family. He studied medicine at Cambridge but switched to the family profession. His father, brother, and sister were all solicitors.
