Gigi White is the wife of the late Yes drummer, Alan White. But her name wasn’t known to many until it appeared at the end of a long FB tribute dedicated to Alan in May 2022.

Meet Gigi White, Yes Drummer Alan White Wife
Gigi White married the love of her life Alan White back on May 15, 1982, almost exactly a decade after Alan joined the Yes band. The lovebirds then went on to cherish over 40 years of married life together until Alan passed away on May 26, 2022 — 11 days after their 40th wedding anniversary.
According to Gigi, her husband took his last breath at their Seattle-area home “after a brief illness.”
Also, Gigi and her kids, then, took it to Alan’s Facebook to write a long tribute, recalling his impressive accolades throughout his six-decade career. They shared that throughout the 1960s, Alan honed his craft with a variety of bands, including The Downbeats, The Gamblers, Billy Fury, Alan Price Big Band, Bell and Arc, Terry Reid, and many more. And in 1968, he joined Ginger Baker’s Airforce, a new group that was put together by the former drummer of Cream and other noted musicians from England’s music scene including Steve Winwood.
It seems that in 1969, Alan even received a phone call from John Lennon asking him to join the Plastic Ono Band. And the very next day, he was already learning songs in the back of an airliner headed to Toronto with Lennon, Yoko Ono, Eric Clapton, and Klaus Voormann.
So, after touring the world with John Lennon, Alan was then asked by George Harrison to perform on the album All Things Must Pass, and he subsequently worked with many artists for the Apple label.
Finally, on July 27, 1972, Alan then joined Yes, and he was with the band until the day of his death.
Overall, Alan was many things to many people — a certified rock star to fans around the world; bandmate to a select few, and gentleman and friend to all who met him.

As of 2022, their daughter, Cassi was married to Kela White, and together, they resided in Marysville, Washington with their 2 adorable dogs.

Gigi White was reportedly born before 1960. That would make her at least 62 years of age in 2022.
On the other hand, her husband Allan was born on June 14, 1949, making him 72 at the time of his death.
Gigi White Job
Gigi White didn’t reveal her job. It’s possible that she didn’t pursue a career at all as she had to stay home to take care of the kids because Alan was often away on tours.
However, we the kids grew up, Gigi did seem to have accompanied her husband on a few of his tours. The last we saw her with Alan was in the audience at The 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
Prior to that, she appeared in the documentary Yesspeak (2003), and also she’s graced the stage of Fox After Breakfast (1996).

Gigi White Family
Gigi White comes from a family of at least five. Sadly, bother of her parents have passed away.
Also, her sister, Mindy joined their parents in heaven in June 2015. To recall her, Mindy was a designer and a handicrafter who designed several of Alan’s mechs. Reportedly, to the very day of her death, she was designing and handcrafting wonderful one-of-a-kind gifts and crafts.
As for Gigi’s other sister, Andrea Holmqvist was alive and doing well as of 2022. The last we checked, she was working as a broker at Windermere Real Estate/East, Inc and lived in Seattle, Washington with her husband Robert @robert.holmqvist.14.
Also, Andrea is Gigi’s younger sister. She was born on November 10, 1963. While her husband Robert was born in 1967.
