Actor Grant Harvey portrays the role of Sleeper Hadley on CBS’s original drama, Fire Country. Although Sleeper Hadley was limited to a few episodes in Fire Country Seasons 1 and 2, he had a significant influence on the show and Bode Leone, the protagonist. Bode Leone, a prisoner in Fire Country, tries to combat flames in California in order to transform his life and have a positive influence on the outside world.

In Season 2, Bode is finally taken back to prison, where he meets Sleeper again. Sleeper isn’t seen again in Season 1. Not only were Sleeper and Bode back in the same prison, but after some strings were pulled for Sleeper, they were placed in the same cell block. Near the end of the episode, Bode and Sleeper get into a knife fight that seems to be going to end with one of them getting killed and their rivalry coming to an end.
But then there’s an earthquake, and Sleeper gets stuck in some debris. Bode now has the opportunity to finally murder Sleeper, but he chooses to use his leverage wisely instead. When Sleeper confesses to his crimes and clears Bode’s name, Bode offers to save Sleeper’s life, and Sleeper accepts. The episode does, however, hint that the two characters will cross paths again when Sleeper threatens to kill Bode if he ever goes back to Lompoc prison.

He got a call one afternoon from his brother and he just heard “Dad died.” The part he was doing was where his character was a a guy who kills his entire family at a dinner table before sitting across from his dad and letting him see his dead family, and then killing him, too.
