The day before the tragic incident, Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola and her friend Christy Giles had an amazing time, partying with her other friends at Soho House in LA. One of her friends (who was with them that night) explained that the two were “completely coherent and fine” when she left them at around 4 am.
As per a video obtained by DailyMail.com, the duo then left the party and went to an apartment in West LA with some men they met that night.
Their bodies were later discovered at two different hospitals — the Kaiser Permanente and the Southern California Hospital in Culver City, with Hilda on the former one.
Reports mentioned that Hilda and Christy’s lifeless bodies were dumped by three masked men. They then drove away in a car with no number plates.
Also, there were traces of heroin found in their system.
Christy’s husband Jan Cilliers — who was visiting his father in San Francisco when the incident occurred — stepped in on the matter to share that his wife and Hilda would never have willingly taken the drug. He suspected a foul play.
Likewise, Christy’s mother believed that her daughter was sexually assaulted before she was killed.

Technically, Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola was still alive days after she was discovered. Reports said that she was in a critical condition and “remains on life support with no brain activity (and) little possibility of recovery.”

Al the while Hilda was fighting for her life in a coma, Christy’s husband had teamed up with Carly Amos and started a GoFundMe campaign to deliver justice to his wife and Hilda. The fundraiser was titled “Justice of Christy”, and naturally the funds would be used to hire a private investigator to look into their case along with other expenses.
Also, they urged people to donate to save “every other female out there who has been or could be grossly affected similarly.”
