But in her stage manager, Maria Gibbons’ defense, Claire explained that the stick was there to ensure that physical distance remains at all times by the lockdown rule. While Matt reminded her that the guidance for distancing had “just been reduced to one meter, so snap her stick in half!”
Now, coming to Claire and Matt’s first encounter. It was in 2014 on the set of Netflix hit The Crown. Claire — who had already landed her role as young Elizabeth II was in the room when Matt came in for his screen test. “She was very generous and there was something that worked about it,” Matt recalled.
They’ve remained friends ever since. And the remarkable chemistry they have on-screen now sparks just as well off-camera.

Claire Foy first met her husband Stephen Campbell Morre on the set of the 2011 fantasy Season of the Witch. Dating for over 3 years, the two then tied the knot in 2014.
Thereafter, the two went on to live in North London where they had the worst time of their life as Stephen was diagnosed with a benign tumor on his pituitary gland at the base of the brain. But that’s not all, things got even worst when Stephen had to have more surgery in 2017, “There are certain things that you make sure you’ve done before you go into surgery. “You write a letter. But it’s all very much on the off chance that something did go wrong because every part of you is saying that nothing will,” he explained.
Sadly, in 2018, Claire and Stephen filed for divorce.

Yes, Claire Foy has a child named Ivy Rose she welcomed with her ex-husband in February 2015.
Talking about her pregnancy, she revealed that she had a “breakdown” and didn’t sleep or eat for a month. But when Ivy stepped into this world, she knew all that had to stop. “Having her made me think, ‘You need to sort your life out.’ I just didn’t have to live like that. It was unbearable. I was sick of myself,” she explained.
