Meet Jacqueline Emmer, Tom Emmer Wife
Tom Emmer’s wife is named Jacqueline Emmer and they met each other during their college years. The couple exchanged their wedding vows in July 1986.
On their 35th anniversary in 2021, Tom posted on his Facebook, “On this day 35 years ago, I married the love of my life. Time flies when you spend each day with your best friend. Happy anniversary, Jacquie!”

Tom was born in 1961, raised in Minnesota, and went to St. Thomas Academy. He earned his JD from William Mitchell College of Law after earning his BA in Political Science from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. He started his own legal practice after several years of legal practice.
For the following twenty years, he balanced his family, career, coaching hockey, and his positions on the Independence and Delano city councils. He was a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2004 to 2008 before entering Congress.
On January 6, 2015, Congressman Tom Emmer took the oath of office and began his first term in the US House of Representatives. He is in the midst of his fifth term of office. Tom was chosen by his fellow Republicans to be the House Majority Whip following his tenure as Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee during the 116th and 117th Congresses. He is a member of the House Financial Services Committee at the moment.
Shortly after being nominated, Republican Tom withdrew from the election to become Speaker of the US House of Representatives. He is the third contender to fall short of winning over enough members of his own party to take the majority in the chamber.
By deciding to withdraw from the race, Mr. Emmer has put Republicans back where they were when they first began trying to identify a candidate who could get support from nearly all of the party’s lawmakers.

He was a brilliant ice hockey player, too, following in his father’s footsteps.
Tripp is currently employed as a lumber trader at Viking Forest Products since 2016.
