Dance 100, a brand-new reality TV series debuted on 17 March 2023. Compared to the dancing competitions that fans are used to viewing, this competition’s format is highly unique. Eight of the best dancers participate in the competition, competing against one another to earn a huge cash reward.
The performers on the show have performed with well-known musicians like Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Lizzo, Cardi B, and Jennifer Lopez. The difference is that these dancers won’t be performing; instead, they’ll be in charge of choreographing a performance for a group of people, testing their abilities to the absolute limit.
The show is hosted by Peloton instructor Ally Love overseeing the competition. Every round is crucial, and the stakes keep rising because the dancers will ultimately decide the fate of the choreographers. As the rounds go on, more and more dancers will join the stage, and eventually, there will be 100 of them there for the grand finale when the winner gets $100,000 and the title.

Janick Arseneau started dancing at the young age of 3. From the age of 3 to 18, she received training at Dancing Acadie (New Brunswick). Her love of dance has always been a comfort to me through trying times. A place where she always felt at home was the dancing studio. She attended all of the classes offered in each style. She has always known she wanted to pursue her passion for dance as a career.
Janick’s lifelong desire has always been to become a professional dancer. When she was younger, competing in So You Think You Can Dance Canada was one of her top priorities. Being from a tiny town, she was aware of the poor chances of success. She was aware that she needed to act quickly.
Janick never allowed unfavorable remarks to her, she always kept my mind on my goals. She finished high school in New Brunswick and moved to Montreal to pursue her dance career. She left everything behind, including friends and family, took the risk, and made the move.
Ever since Janick accomplished so many goals that she has set for herself and started her dance career in Canada. One of them was on So You Think You Can Dance Canada Season 3. Not only did she accomplish that goal, but she finished as a finalist – Top 4. She has also since then accomplished, dancing in the videogame ‘The Micheal Jackson The Experience’ from Ubisoft with the Kinect for the Xbox 360; assisted alongside Megan Lawson (FanyPack) and Phil ‘Packman’ Shbeeb (IamMe) for the Micheal Jackson The Immortal Tour from Cirque du Soleil choreographed by NappyTabs.
Janick also danced in the movie ‘Mirror Mirror’ featuring stars such as Julia Roberts; Nathan Lane; danced in the movie ‘Make your move 3D’ choreographed by NappyTabs, directed by Duane Adler and starring Derek Hough and BoA; was on America’s Best Dance Crew Season 7 with Irratik; danced for Ceelo Green, Def Leppard, Melissa Etheridge and Kelly Clarkson on the Quebec version of the hit TV show The Voice (La Voix); danced on the Bell Center stage for signer Marie-Mai and danced in the movie Step Up 5 : All In.
