Late TikTok star Jenny Appleford, better known as Jenny Apple, had shared on a YouTube live to her fans that she was living the last of her days and on 8 November 2023, her husband Kyle Appleford took to her YouTube to explain that his wife and mother of his children is no more.
In the devastating update video captioned “We Lost our Beautiful Jenny, She Finally Beat Cancer,” Kyle found it difficult to put his thoughts together.
Kyle said, “Jenny had asked me to make this video when this time came.” After a long pause gathering himself, he said, “So, this is just an update to let you know that Jenny, our beautiful beautiful girl, our beautiful angel has become an angel.”
Kyle described Jenny’s death at precisely 5:00 a.m. as “pretty fitting,” given her penchant for numbers and symbolism. He added, “Jenny’s earthly body is gone but as many of you know her soul and her spirit will live on in all of us forever.”
In the end, Jenny got to come home and be with her kids and got what she wanted. Kyle added that she on the hospice for a week but it felt like forever.

Kyle Appleford and Jenny Apple married on 26 July 2014. They reportedly met at work and clicked instantly. They were best friends for four years before Jenny asked Kyle to be her boyfriend.
Jenny wrote, “As soon as we fell in love I knew we were meant to be together forever. Falling in love with my best friend has made life so enjoyable. We originally didn’t plan on having children but had a change of heart while Christmas shopping one year. While walking through the crowded mall I spotted a little boy all alone, scared, and crying. I ran to him and helped him find his mom and it felt like something released in my brain that made me want to be a mother. We have two kids, Ellis and Winnie, and one angel baby that we lost during pregnancy, Leo. I will personally introduce each of us over the next few days.”

Our family is so grateful for you, we are so grateful for your courage, your fight, and your determination. No matter what life has thrown our way, or what you continue to endure, your smile is still as beautiful and perfect as always. I love you baby bear, and I am so thankful for you.”
Jenny had previously sadly expressed her aspirations for the future following her passing. Her husband is free to get married again and fall in love again, she said. Jenny told fans: “I want him to be happy so let him be happy. I’ll be an angel sparkling in the sky. I’ll be sparkling over you guys when you get a glimmer of light in your eyes, it’s me saying ‘hi.’”
Tributes have been pouring into the comment section of the video. One follower wrote, “Jenny won her cancer battle a long time ago because cancer NEVER took away her kindness, compassion, gratitude, motivation, humor, and drive. In fact, all cancer did was motivate her to form this community that has reached around the world and unified so many of us. Thats Badass!!! She left behind this amazing legacy that will live on through you and your children. Jenny, thank you for everything.!”
Another follower, addressed Jenny’s husband and surviving children as they commented, “Dear Kyle, Ellis, and Winnie, and her extended family and friends – I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I’ve been following Jenny’s story here for many months. I lost my mom when I was 16 in 1983 after a 7-year fight with breast cancer. I am praying for comfort for you all. Jeremiah 29:11.”

Kyle added that their son Ellis was “clinging onto the hope that there could be a miracle.” He justified his and his wife’s choice to tell their kids, saying, “It takes a lot of courage to be honest with them because it’s a scary thing to say but this is the route and I’m glad we did it.”
Jenny had revealed at the time that her daughter Winnie was “struggling” with the news. She said: “We wanna get her some help because I can’t imagine how hard it is as a 4-year-old going through this … She seems to completely understand — it’s a bummer.”
Jenny was very proud of her two children and featured them regularly on her socials. In August 2022, she wrote about her son, “First day of first grade! 😭 I am so truly grateful that we are able to all be together today! We are so proud of Ellis! 🤍✨.”
