Towards the end of the June 30th episode, presenter Iain Stirling teased the comeback of Casa Amor telling the ITV2 viewers: “The wait is over. Casa Amor… is coming.”
As usual, this year’s Casa Amor sees six new boys and six new girls joining the show. The new lineup of contestants consists of Deji Adeniyi, Summer Botwe, Josh, Jazmine Nichol, Jack Keating, Coco Lodge, George Tasker, Chyna Mills, Samuel Agbiji, Mollie Salmon, Billy Brown, and Cheyanne Kerr.
The new contestants, like the original Islanders, will be separated into two villas. For the first time since 2019, it will be the girls who make the trip to Casa Amor villa where they will be joined by six new boys. In the main villa, on the other hand, the boys will be joined by six new bombshells.
Casa Amor twists will see relationships being tested to the maximum limit. Each year, many dramatic scenes unfold as many bonds are broken while some new ones are made and this year it will be no different.
Tall, handsome Josh is in the show definitely to ruffle some feathers. “Joshua is a perfect fit for the show. Bosses are hoping he’ll follow in the footsteps of boxer Tommy Fury, who was a huge hit. Joshua is really handsome but there is much more to him than that – the girls will go wild for him,” a TV insider told The Sun.
When asked why he decided to join Love Island, Josh revealed that he’s always been single and is looking for “someone who can stick up for themselves and hold their own and up for a laugh, funny and doesn’t take themselves too seriously.” He added, “If you’re going to find someone, it’ll be in a place where everyone is single and looking for the same thing.”
Furthermore, Josh is hopeful he will bring “a lot of energy, some good chat, and maybe a little bit of trouble” into the villa.
