In order to propagate false information that the state’s election had been marred by fraud, Mike also gathered speakers for a hearing before a Georgia House committee on December 10, 2020, according to the prosecution. Among them was a former election supervisor from Coffee County, Georgia, who was charged with facilitating access to the county’s voting equipment for Trump supporters.
Roman is also accused of organizing the recruitment of Trump electors in Georgia and other states. He is said to have collaborated with others to compile their names and contact information in a spreadsheet. He is also accused of asking contacts on the ground in Georgia to keep him informed as the phony electors gathered on December 14, 2020, to cast what they claimed to be the state’s electoral votes.
