Gina Miles is one of the top 5 contestants on season 23 of The Voice. She has her coach Niall Horan to thank for this, but most of all, she’s grateful to her parents; especially her father who helped her kick start her career in music.

Gina Miles loves her parents, Ryan Galey and Amy Buler to the moon. However, Amy isn’t her biological mother. Her father raised her all on his own. No wonder, she seems to like him more.
But this doesn’t mean Amy doesn’t love her. Infact, it was Gina’s stepmother who supported her when she wanted to pursue music more seriously and decided to move in with her aunt in Sacramento. The transition to a big city was very intimidating at first, but now, she’s a top 5 finalist on The Voice.
For the top-5 round, Gina chose Taylor Swift’s “Style,” which Niall called “ridiculous” and praised her for going with a pop song after all of the “haunting” songs she’s taken on before. She then closed out the evening with Sinead O’Connor’s “Nothing Compares 2 U.”
“That was a special moment on ‘The Voice’ for me.” Niall shared. “She needs to win this thing.”
Meet Ryan Galey, Gina Miles Father
Ryan Galey is Gina Miles’ loving father. He raised her as a single dad, DJ’ing every weekend.
After Gina turned 14, it was also he who helped her get more into the music scene and invited her to his gigs. Naturally, he’s the proudest of his daughter, and now even more, for she’s made it to the Top 5 in The Voice.

Ryan Galey was born in May 1970. That made him 53 years of age in 2023.
He is the son of Carolyn J Galey (born: 1944), and the grandson of Janice Galey (August 30, 1939 – December 2, 2013).

Ryan Galey Job
Ryan Galey is an insurance producer who loves his job. “I enjoy the business of business. I have been involved in service and management for a long time and I still find it a refreshing challenge every day,” he said.
But prior to this, Ryan spent 3 decades working in restaurant management before COVID-19 hit the world in 2020, resulting in his change in career. “Honestly, when COVID hit, the whole idea of restaurant service had kind of gone sideways with working for corporate restaurants, and I wanted to find something to where I could still be of service and of use to people and use my customer service skills,” he explained.
Ryan opened Ryan Galey Agency in October 2022, offering a wide range of insurance products, including auto, home, life, and commercial/business insurance, plus annuities and Medicare supplements. Now, as of May 2023, he is in his third year as a licensed insurance agent for Farmers Insurance and entering his ninth month of operating his own agency.
In case of any problems, Ryan reaches out to Michael Rumsey Farmers Insurance Agency (his previous workplace). The Farmers’ agents in the area have “a lot of cooperation” between each other and work together whenever needed to meet the needs of their clients, Ryan said.
Besides this, Ryan still hasn’t left his job as a DJ at Maximum Entertainment. “I have two shows a week right now in Champaign,” he shared.
As for his education, Ryan studied Liberal arts and Sciences at Southern Illinois University, Broadcast Communications at Parkland College, and General Studies Program at Eastern Illinois University.
