Angie Katsanevas joined the cast of RHOSLC for its third installment in 2022. And thanks to her friendship with Jen and Heather (which dates back to 2020), she easily fitted in with the group.
But though Angie was linked to the SLC group through Jen and Heather, her alliances may have shifted since filming for Season 3 wrapped. The last we saw her, she shared a bunch of photos from an event for Utah Foster Care (an organization Lisa Barlow is heavily involved in) alongside Whitney and Lisa.
The two stars ever were seen leaving comments on Angie’s Instagram posts, while Jen and Heather did not!
Did you know: Angie originally auditioned for the show back in 2019 but did not make it. “Did I make the cut for the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City you ask…The answer is NO…But we (Katsanevas and her daughter) got our matching Mommy and Me gear on just in case we got the callback,” Katsanevas shared on her Instagram at the time.

Angie Katsanevas is the co-owner of Lunatic Fringe, a hair salon in Salt Lake City. She founded the salon back in 1999 alongside her husband Shaw in a 700-square-foot building. And today, the nationally recognized brand is nine locations strong and growing.
Just in Utah, they are located at 2545 East Parleys Way, 445 East South Temple, 7686 South Union Park Ave, 4343 North Highway 224, and 4640 South Holladay Blvd.
Besides Lunatic Fringe, Angie also took her 27 years of experience as a hairdresser to open a beauty school in Holladay, Utah named The School SLC.

Fast-forward to over 2 decades of their lives together, the duo now shares a successful business and also shares a daughter named Elektra.
Her only child, Elektra turned 11 on May 18, 2022. Alongside her singing career, Elektra now is also an equestrian who plans to own a Ranch and train horses one day after qualifying as an equestrian in the Olympics.
From 2021- 22, Elektra has won several equestrian competitions. After winning one in June 2022, she said, “Mom this is not my first time getting first or my last. It’s gonna happen one million more times. So DON’T freak out when I win.” Seems like, she’s inherited her mother’s confidence.
Furthermore, Elektra has already started multiple businesses including Little Lotls and Pony Treats.
Now, Coming back to Angie’s spouse, Shawn is the owner of Paul Mitchell The School SLC/Ogden. He went to Harvard Business School and the University of Utah.
