Meet Pontus Gitselov, Novelist Emma Noyes Partner
Pontus Gitselov first met Emma Noyes in Los Angeles in February 2022. After only two to three months of dating, he then asked the novelist to move in with him to Sweden. Emma accepted, and the pair moved to Lund in August.
Now, the two are engaged! Pontus popped the question to the love of his life in March 2023. The engagement came as a surprise to the novelist as they were just walking around with Emma’s grandmother. According to Emma, Pontus bent his knee as he asked her to film him reading a poem to her grandmother for her 90th birthday.
“I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend,” she rejoiced.
The novelist realizes that things are moving fast but she’s happy to have met such a wonderful person. In fact, she claimed to have manifested her dream man. After being a bulimic for a long time, she just recovered in 2021 and started writing about a young bulimic woman who falls in love with a man who helps her get through the disease. And right after she finished, she met Pontus who fed her “delicious food, and held my hand when I struggled to keep it down.”
Also, since she was recovering from ED, she sometimes cried as the meals felt too hard. Luckily, Pontus was there to make she got down the last few bites. “Support systems are KEY. I’m so lucky to have @gits_junior in my corner, and many many other friends and family,” she shared.
Isn’t Pontus the dream partner? But many claimed that Pontus was just being nice to her so he could marry her and get the green card.
Fun Fact: Just within a year they met, Pontus and Emma had already traveled to eight countries.
