Rami Kashou who appeared on season 4 of Project Runway has been invited to compete for season 20 dubbed as All-Star. He was five years old when his mother passed away. His grandmother wore only black as she was mourning.
Rami added, “I used to hold her hand while guiding her to her closet and pick out the most colorful dresses that were tucked away to the back asking her to wear them. Shortly after I began draping designs on my baby sister with bedsheets and we used to do our own runway shows.”
When he was in seventh grade, Rami knew that he wanted to be a designer as he would enjoy designing sketches all over his notebook. He is running an e-commerce business that “highlights unique, limited-edition ready-to-wear and made-to-order pieces along with evening and bridal wear, it can be a challenge at times, especially creating in an industry where fast fashion dominates. At the same time, I think that it opens space and opportunity for small businesses with personal brand stories like mine to offer a needed tangible boutique experience for conscious consumers who are seeking unique quality designs.”
As for the biggest challenge, Rami has been launching the “ARD Project,” a series of limited-edition, social impact design collections highlighting my heritage through beautiful Palestinian hand embroidery.

Did You Know? Rami had a fight in a gay bar that left him injured. He got to fight in a fight at West Hollywood gay bar Abbey Thursday night. According to BlackBook, an onlooker saw another clubgoer hit Kashou in the head with a martini glass, “leaving him bleeding from head to toe.” The witness said Rami was taken away in an ambulance.

An agency friend who was helping him get settled in NYC advised him to go to a casting for male models. So Jeff walked up without any experience, and a few days later he was fronting Gianni Versace’s men’s market season in 1998.
Moreover, a movie production business called Industry Standard Films also counts Jeff as a partner. The 2005 Newport Beach Film Festival’s Outstanding Achievement Award in Filmmaking went to Jeff, who created the Lord of the Rings documentary Ringers.
