Niraj Mehta, a Miami-based choreographer and radiation oncologist, entered Shital Patel’s life through her sister. They immediately fell head over heels in love. She genuinely acknowledged that he has a huge heart, is passionate, caring, and compliments her in every manner possible. He also acts openly and honestly, which has led her to believe that he is “the one.”
She also values the fact that they are honest with each other about their intimate relationships; these are just a few of the many reasons why she declared that he was the reason she would move to Florida.
The only catch? Niraj lives over 1,200 miles away in Miami. That’s where viewers next saw the couple, and Shital opened up about how Niraj felt at home — something she’d never experienced outside her own family. “If a home with you is Miami, then… it’s Miami,” Shital told him, expressing her desire to start a family and have kids.
“I’m just ear-to-ear smiling,” she spoke during confessional. “I love him with my whole heart, I will never find this kind of love ever again, so I’m really happy.”
“I feel at home with my parents and my sisters, but I’ve never had that feeling of home with a significant other,” Shital told Niraj in the series. “And then when I met you, I feel at home, and I feel safe. Like, home is with you.” The corporate worker naturally feels the same way, as does the doctor who combines medication with a bodily movement for better healthcare and who reciprocated the feeling before declaring in a confessional that he is “definitely in love.”

Although it’s unclear if Shital moved to Miami formally, since February, her Instagram geotags have bounced between Miami and New York. She also provided a thought on “the sense of home” following a trip to Miami in early February that was quite similar to the speech she gave Niraj on the program.
Shital came to the conclusion that home “may never be one place” for her after writing about attachments and emotions. She resumed posting from Miami a few weeks later.
