Stuart Claxton first met Anne Burrell on the dating app “Bumble” in 2018. Two years later, the couple got engaged on April 18, 2020, while quarantining with their family in Cazenovia.
But although they held a small engagement ceremony, the duo always dreamed of having a grand wedding. So, they waited patiently for the COVID-19 restrictions to be eased. Finally, on October 16, 2021, the two tied the knot in a beautiful fall ceremony at Windridge Estates Redbarn 20 in Cazenovia, N.Y., the bride’s hometown.
And the patience paid off! Their wedding was a moment to remember. Anne arrived down the aisle in a horse and carriage, accompanied at the altar by four bridesmaids including her sister, Jane, and close friend.
As for their attire, Anne wore a white dress made by Carolina Herrera, while Stuart rocked a black tuxedo by Ralph Lauren Purple Label and orange Nike high-tops. The guests were stunned, and also couldn’t be any happier with the food that was served. A roasted cauliflower steak for starter, Goat cheese and butternut squash ravioli for the past course, and a duo plate of braised short ribs for the entree.
Following dinner, Stuart and Anne surprised the guest with their first dance to “On Top of the World” by Imagine Dragons. They later revealed that they attended dance classes and had a Broadway choreographer choreograph a dance for them.
