Having seen the Texas congressman Van Taylor’s happy face on billboards throughout Plano — campaigning for his re-election to Congress in 2022 — his mistress Tania Joya just wasn’t having it. Thus, she collaborated with GOP candidate Suzanne Harp in hopes to confront the congressmen privately, only later to have the whole thing blow off.
Keep reading this Tania Joya Bio to learn all about her.
Meet Tania Joya, Van Taylor’s Mistress
Tania first met Van Taylor while she was helping to reprogram extremists, which she had been doing after returning to the US from Syria. So, the two got “very close,” followed by sexting with each other, and it was only a matter of time before the two got intimate (which lasted for about 8 months).
An alleged message, written by Van, mentioned all the sex acts he wanted to do with Joya.
So, things started to go south for the congressman, when Tania asked him for some help to pay off bills. According to Tania, Van agreed and even gave for $5 thousand, but under one condition — she had to keep her mouth shut!
No wonder, Tania flared up.
“I needed help. I was like, just help me out because that’s the least — the very least — he could do,” she shared.
Thus, she contacted Suzanne Harp and wanted her to persuade him to ditch his campaign and resign from Congress. “All I wanted was for Suzanne Harp to just say, ‘Hey, I know your little scandal with Tania Joya. Would you like to resign before we embarrass you?’ But it didn’t happen like that,” Joya explained.
After the revelation, Van dropped his re-election bid. He was headed for a GOP runoff with Keith Self at the time.
Also, he publicly apologized to his then-wife of over 17 years, Anne Coolidge (a real-estate agent), and their three daughters Lauren, Helen, and Susie.
As for Tania, she was just relieved now the cat was out of the bag. On March 4, 2022, she also took it to her FB to thanks all those who showed her “compassion and support during this Van Taylor showdown.” Especially, she thanked the Christian community of Seattle for showing “empathy and non-judgmental mercy” towards her.
Tania Joya Late Husband
Tania’s late husband was ISIS’s highest-ranking American member, John Georgelas. The duo first met at a Muslim dating website — that was shared with her while attending a rally “against the war in Iraq.”
So, finding their common ground — Tania, having rocks thrown at her window just because she is a British-Bangladeshi, and John, Texas-born military personnel who converted to Islam shortly after 9/11 — the duo soon fell in love.
Ultimately, Tania and John got married in 2004, and by 2013, they were already pregnant with their fourth kid, whom they initially planned to turn into jihadi fighters.
“Our dreams were to have land of our own, raise a family and train them to be assassins or whatever, soldiers, and then eventually go join the jihad,” Tania recalled.
Thus, to live their dream, Joya and Tania headed to Syria. However, Tania fell sick not long after they arrived and returned to the states to live with her parents-in-law.
Soon, the ideological grip of ISIS and her husband had loosed. She then filed for divorce, started looking for love again in a secular dating site, and that was where she met her next beau, an IT professional named Chad Greenslade.
However, although she’d long left Islam, and taught her children that their father was wrong, and has a new boyfriend, she still has a place for her late husband in her heart.
Reportedly, Tania’s late husband went on to become one of the most important Americans fighting for ISIS. John, who went by the name Yahya Abu Hassan, was killed in 2017.
