Tiffany Chen first met Robert De Niro back in 2015. However, it wasn’t until August 2021 that the two were romantically linked.
At the time, Robert — who was just recovering from the leg injury he sustained filming Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon — was spotted with Tiffany celebrating his 78th birthday with a boat ride in France. Also, it was reported that the two stayed at the Hotel Eden Roc.
But that was it. The two disappeared from the public eye after that, only to return in March 2023 to drop the baby news. The news was first revealed via Robert’s rep who shared that the actor “just had a baby.” Naturally, fans were quick to react and they noticed that just two months before, visibly pregnant Tiffany (realized later) and Robert had stepped out for a dinner date!
Prior to their romance, Robert became the father of six children each with Diahnne Abbott, Toukie Smith, and Grace Hightower. The Oscar-winning actor adopted Diahnne’s daughter, Drena, in 1976 — the same year she gave birth to her son Raphael. He then welcomed twin sons Aaron and Julian with Toukie Smith in 1995, followed by son Elliot and daughter Helen with Grace Hightower in 1998 and 2011, respectively.

Her father, William C C Chen — also known as a great grand master of Yang’s Style T’ai Chi Ch’uan — was born in 1933 in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, China. He learned martial arts as a kid and had a schedule living in a Professor’s house. There, he also was the Professor’s assistant and taught many private students at their homes. After completing his training, he then enrolled as a student at the University of Hawaii right after arriving at the paradise island of Oahu.
In 1655, he then finally moved to New York City opened T’ai Chi School, met and married Priscilla, and raised their two kids Tiffany and Maximillion.
Tiffany’s mother Priscilla also is a martial artist. She won the bronze medal in push hand in the ladies’ division at the “4th Chung Hwa Cup International Tai Chi Chuan Championship” in Taipei, Taiwan in 2000.
Likewise, Tiffany’s brother Maximillion took on the family art too and went on to become the West Coast, East Coast, and US Champion in the Chinese San-Shou competition. In 2005, he also received the bronze medal at the 8th World Wushu Championship in Hanoi Vietnam, and won the bronze medal as well in 2007 at the 9th World Wushu Championship in Beijing.
In 2008, he then represented the USA team in the Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

Martial Art is in Tiffany’s blood. She was raised to dominate the Martial Arts world, and she’s succeeded in doing so.
Tiffany was the undefeated national and international T’ai Chi Push-Hands Champion. In 2003, she was the San-Shou (Chinese kickboxing) Champion and was also presented with a Special Award for the “Best Lei Tai Performance by a Female Athlete” of the World San-Shou Championship in Brazil.
In recognition of her achievements, Inside Kung-Fu magazine even named Tiffany to its 2004 Hall of Fame as the Best Competitor of the Year.
Later, she then won the silver medal in the 8th World Wushu San-Shou Championship in Hanoi, Vietnam in 2005, and the silver medal in the New York State Golden Gloves in 2012.
The martial artist has also penned her training in the book “Step by Step Tai Chi with Tiffany Chen”.
