Why Did DeRon Jenkins And Page Turner Split?
DeRon Jenkins and Page Turner met each other before 2008. Page was showing a house to a client when she ran into DeRon who was working as the builder. The house they met was DeRon’s one of the first projects as a builder.
Page immediately gushed to her friends how cute he was and she became DeRon’s real estate agent. Soon, the professional relationship between the two took a romantic turn and they started dating each other.
Later, the couple broke up after dating for five years and it also affected their professional life.
“But then our relationship changed, and we didn’t work as well together in that capacity,” Page shared. “But we still worked well together as far as building homes and selling homes and rehabbing homes went. So we continued our working relationship.”
When Did DeRon Jenkins And Page Turner Split?
The first episode of the show set the tone for about a couple of exes working together. Page purchases a ranch home in need of a total gut job in a popular Nashville neighborhood but without telling DeRon. Upon discovering about it DeRon shares, “I can’t believe Page bought this house without telling me. That’s probably why we broke up”.
While speaking with US Weekly, Page revealed that the split was amicable. She explained, “We dated for a long time, but we remained friends. We didn’t have this huge blow-up where we just stopped speaking and all that drama.”
They went their separate ways for a while after the breakup for a few years. Then, they maintained a professional relationship after being okay about working together.
But, the breakup was also not as drama-free as viewers see. Speaking with PEOPLE, the former love birds admitted their split was not without its pain and suffering. DeRon explained there “was some time between” when they split up and then they reconnected. Page added, “After the traumatic breakup, yes, there was a time in between. Listen, I have stories.”
DeRon also admitted their breakup was equally rough for him. Page told People the one thing that they did well was making money together.
The only reason they were able to work together is that they respect each other. Page admires his craftsmanship. Meanwhile, DeRon admired how well she knows Nashville. He told, “She knows the heartbeat of the city. She’s good at finding not only the homes on the market but homes that haven’t reached the market yet. She’s done a good of networking and finding those little niches where we can get those great homes.”
They worked on Flip or Flop Nashville which kicked off in January 2018. Besides buying and renovating houses viewers also got to see how they navigate a post-breakup relationship.
Page shared, “We work off of each other well. I know exactly what makes him tick, he knows exactly what makes me tick and we get all the work done.”
DeRon Jenkins’ Relationship Status
Based DeRon Jenkin’s social media posts, he is currently single. He could be seen focusing on his work and spending time with his daughter. He appears to be single as of 2022.
Page Turner’s Relationship Status
The same goes for Page Turner. She has moved to Los Angeles and started working on new projects. She is often seen spending time with her daughters but she hasn’t hinted at being in a new relationship.
