Rachel Clark from Winter House, her adoptive mother, was named Nancy Clark.
Nancy Clark was born to her parents Jean “Ginger” Schorer Oberst and Ernest Oberst. Her late parents were married for 70 years until her father’s passing in 2014.
Ginger was a member of DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution, an organization she was proud to belong to for over 70 years. She had a radio show on WELI for some time in the 1940s, where she also reported the traffic. An accomplished pianist, she gave piano lessons at home to local students in the 1960s. Later in life, Ginger worked for 14 years as the school secretary at Chapman School. Nancy’s mom died on 12 January 2019.
Nancy has a brother named William E. Oberst who is currently residing in North Adams, Massachusetts.

Sadly, Scott died at the age of 38 on 21 June 2017 at Masonicare Hospice, Wallingford, CT after a long illness. He was born on 6 December 1978 in Sylvania, Ohio.
Scott attended Cheshire schools through his graduation from Cheshire High School in 1997, his artistic talents became evident from his earliest years. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Southampton College of Long Island University, NY in 2001, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
