Meet Zac Affleck, Mormon Wives Star Jennifer Affleck Husband
Before Jennifer Affleck appeared on Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives she was married to Jennifer Affleck. Jennifer has two children with Zac. Nora, their daughter, was born in November 2021. In April 2023, they declared their intention to have a boy. Their second child, Lucas Lowell, was born in July 2023.
Following their meeting on the Mormon dating app Mutual, the couple started dating in 2018. Later, in January 2019, Zac proposed at Top of the Rock in New York City. On June 28, 2019, the pair married in Newport Beach, California. The celebration was hosted aboard a sizable yacht, while the wedding was held at the nearby LDS temple.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives costars on Hulu were quite concerned about Jennifer Affleck’s marriage to Zac Affleck; but, are they still together? Jennifer thanked the show in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly for giving the pair the space to resolve their differences.
“I definitely think it was the best thing to happen to our relationship. While watching the show, a lot of people are going to think that maybe this would break our relationship apart. But if anything, it did the opposite,” Jennifer shared. “Being on camera and having those moments happen made us take a step back and actually look at a relationship and make us just see what we have to change.”
Jennifer adds, “Ever since we finished filming, we’ve been doing nonstop therapy and it’s been great.” Jennifer is delighted with the accomplishments she and Zac have achieved.
For the benefit of their future, Jennifer and Zach decided to move “past everything” once filming for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives concluded.
“We’ve healed and now we’re ready to talk about it once it comes out,” she noted.
Zac, the second cousin of Ben Affleck, and his spouse were first introduced to Us through the reality series, which follows a group of Mormon parenting influencers. Jennifer was initially portrayed as a more traditional Mormon, but her costars and viewers didn’t get a peek at her marital problems until the very end of the season.
When Jennifer went to a Chippendales show in Las Vegas with her MomTok friends while on a girls’ trip, Zac became quite furious. Jennifer left the outing early because he told her that she had “no values or morals.”
Demi Engemann, Jennifer’s co-star, said she received texts from Zac claiming he no longer loved her, threatening to dissolve their union, and forcing his wife to come to his hotel room in the middle of the night to sort things out. Additionally, Demi said that Zac has a problem with gambling, which is against Mormon doctrine.

Whereas, David is a thoracic surgery specialist in Salt Lake City, Utah. He earned a human biology bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. He completed a surgical residency and graduated with a medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine.
David finished a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis after receiving his degree. Dr. Affleck was one of the first doctors in the country to execute the Mini-Maze and specializes in the Maze and Mini-Maze surgical ablation techniques for the treatment of atrial fibrillation and other heart arrhythmias.
