Those who watch Price Is Right are of course familiar with the “Mama Mai” that host of the show George Gray utters in every episode. On 26 April 2016, a fan asked the host of Price Is Right on Twitter, “I have been wanting to ask you @TheGeorgeGray Who is Mama May? #comeondown.”
George kindly responded to the tweet sharing that Mama Mai was his dear sweet mom who watched the show every day.
But it appears the fan kind of missed the Mama Gray reveal because he introduced his mom on the show in May 2014 on Mother’s Day episode. George also revealed his mom’s appearance with a tweet, “Heeeeeeere it comes! My mom is on @PriceIsRight today! :)” The real Mama Mai has also said the traditional catchphrase before.
Mama Mai Age
On 27 February 2020, George took to his Instagram to celebrate his mother’s birthday. The host is already 54 years old who celebrated his birthday in March 2021. Taking into consideration that Mama Mai is at least 20 years older than him, she has to be in the age range of 70-75.
Mama Mai Acting Career
Long before George started his career in the entertainment industry, Mama Mai has delved herself into the movie industry. While she worked briefly as an actress, she also explored a career behind the cameras working in the casting and costume and wardrobe department.
As an actress, she first landed her gig in a TV show named Bachelor Father (1961). She appeared as Beeber’s Receptionist / Diane’s Big Sister in two episodes of the show. The same year, she also appeared on Checkmate as Miss Rubens. Furthermore, 18 years later in 1979, she again appeared on a TV show named The Sacketts.

How Many Kids Does Mama Mai Have?
Mama Mai and her late husband had at least two kids; George Gray and Renee Gray. She and her husband had their children in St. Louis, and according to George, he did part of his growing up in the place. Then, the family decided to move to Tucson and ended up completing his high school and college in Tucson.
However, he often visited St. Louis, and even bought back his childhood home in Ballwin in 2005. However, they lost touch with each other after their first meeting but reconnected with each other back in 2016 and started dating each other officially.
In April 2020, George had a heart attack but recovered after going into cardiac arrest. After a 911 call from his wife Brittney, he was rushed into hospital after the host experienced severe chest pains. On the way to the hospital, he had his first heart attack. After arriving, doctors then took George into surgery and put a stent into one of his arteries, which failed.
Following that, he suffered a second major heart attack while he walked around the hospital. During the procedure to put a third stent in his arteries, he had his third heart attack while on the operating table. The surgery team performed a quadruple bypass, George was listed in critical condition after being taken into the ICU.
Later, he gained a stable condition.
George, who has been hosting the show since 2011, celebrated his 10 years in April 2021.
