If you’re not updated, Don Lewis was the one who saved Carole Baskin from her escape from her first husband Mike Murdock. The lovebirds tied the knots in a courthouse in 1991. Later in 1997, Don went missing after living in Miami, as told by Carole.
His van was discovered at the airport but there were no records of him boarding the plane to Miami.
Speaking about the investigation regarding Don, Troy shared, “So, it is all intuitive on this case, with a little bit of research.” He traveled to the place where he was last seen with Lewis’s family. He revealed to them there was “bad juju” there before becoming physically ill.
Troy explained to Oxygen, “When I come across something that is more evil to me, then it just comes on randomly, quickly, unexpected. This particular time, it just made me emotional because I see pictures quite distinct. So when I was at that certain property, the pictures… just flowed through me and broke me down.”
In the show, Troy revealed to Don’s daughter that Don was a victim of homicide. He was murdered “from behind.”
