Good news Bachelor fans, Sydney Lotuaco, and her boyfriend of over a year Nick Wehby got engaged on Dec 4, 2021. “One and DONE! I love you forever,” Sydney revealed the news a day later on IG.

Nick Wehby first saw the love of his life Sydney Lotuaco over Bachelor and immediately after her stint, he slid into her DMs. Just within days, the twos were having long conversations over Facetime and formed a strong connection by the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Finally, in August 2020, Sydney then booked a ticket to meet Nick in Cincinnati. Just one look at each other, the pair knew they shared something “really special,” and Sydney then decided to take their relationship “to the next level” and moved in with Nick “on a whim.”
Over a year later, the lovebirds got engaged and were ready to take each other as their life partners. Sharing the happing over IG, Nick wrote, “Thank you for waking up each day and loving me just the way you found me. I truly don’t deserve you and I’m so relieved you didn’t figure that out before I got down on one knee.”
Also, he went on to thank “Tacori” for helping him decide on the amazing ring.
According to Sydney, there were a “lot of factors” that made them a great match. “We met in a very unrealistic way, but we leaned into it and made it work,” she added. It seems that both the couple put efforts from their sides and their efforts were respected and appreciated by the other.
Nick is Sydney’s “ideal guy.” She always wanted a life where she was laughing a lot and having a lot of fun with her partner. “I have that with Nick,” she shared. Plus Nick’s amazing sense of humor, and his hardworking and family-oriented personality was what reeled in Sydney.
As for their wedding plans, the couple had yet to decide on when they were taking the next step.

Nick Wehby comes from a family of five. He is the middle child born to his parents Fred and Linda Wehby.
Talking a little about his mother, Linda is a Fairfield, Ohio naive who beat cancer twice. Nick said that she was a champ, the top 3 best grandmas in the game, and consistently his biggest supporter.
Also, it was Nick’s mother who first introduced him to the Bachelor, and he’s been a fan ever since.
As for Nick’s dad, he was “the most selfless person” and his “biggest role model in every area of life.” But Nick also mentioned that his father was “the funniest guy (he) knew, even though most of his material comes from capitalizing on others’ shortcomings.”
