Meet Janet Dana, Kent Dana’s Wife
Phoenix-based news anchor, Kent Dana was married to his wife Janet Dana. They reportedly tied the knots in circa 1979. They stayed married for 42 years at the time of his death.
Kent also acknowledged his wife Janet’s sacrifice, being married to someone with such a unique job for three decades. “It’s not easy being the spouse of an evening anchor and leaving the house at one in the afternoon or so every day and being gone all evening,” Kent said in 2018. “She was in charge of the household and kept the family in line and I’m very, very proud of her.”
They had two daughters named Emily Dana (@emily.dana.5) and Kelly Dana (@kelly.dana1). Not much is known about Emily, but her sister Kelly Dana is working as a Graphic Designer at Canvas Vows. Before, Janet Dana, Ken Dana was married to his ex-wife Carol Ann Huber Dana. Hailing from Mesa, Arizona, she currently lives in Glendale, Arizona.
Carol attended and graduated from Mesa High School (Arizona) in 1963. She also studied dance and graduated with BA honors in 1967. She worked at Royal Dance Works and starting in 2018, she has been working at Sun City West and Sun City Grand, AZ.

Moreover, in 2019, Joe told AZCentral about his father during an interview, “The thing about him, he is a proud dad, and he’s just elated at whatever you do. He has six kids and we all have done completely different things. One’s a graphic designer, one’s in insurance, one’s an attorney, one’s a teacher. He’s just always so happy to see us enjoying our jobs and talking about accomplishments. He’s treated what I’ve done exactly the same as everyone else.”
As for his other two daughters, Susan Allen Dana (@susan.d.allen.9) works at Royal Dance Works, and not much is known about Kathryn Dana (@kathryn.dana).
