Mountain Men stars Jake Herak and Anika Ward are husband and wife. The couple tied the knots on 2 July 2022, according to The Knots in Sheridan, Montana at Clover Meadows. Guests were requested to dress casually. On their wedding website, they wrote, ”
We are so very excited to celebrate our special day with you all! A couple of notes: For those wishing to camp, there will be space available for tents/campers/RV’s on the ranch. There will NOT be power/water hook-ups; however, we will have portable bathrooms available for use. If possible, please let us know ahead of time if you are planning on that.”
They added, “Safety is definitely a priority, if you don’t plan on camping, there will be a local taxi available for transportation throughout the valley.”
Jake introduced has introduced his life partner on his socials only a few times. He shared a few pictures of her on Valentine’s Day. In 2019, he posted, “Happy Valentine’s Day to this dime, she puts up with a lot… I’m always gone working or hunting and she’s always by my side supporting me in everything I do… thanks babe for all you do.”
After dating for more than three years, Jake proposed to Anika on her Instagram. She wrote, “when you know you just know, took a little vacation and managed to pull off tricking my beautiful girlfriend into becoming my fiancé. I cannot thank all the people who helped me pull this off enough! from watching our new babies at home to helping me pull this off on the island, thank you all!! there’s too many of you to name names but you know who you are.”

Jake turned 33 years old in 2022. He was born to John Herak and Alisa Smith. Jake has a sister named Sierra Smith, two brothers named Michael Smith and Bo Herak, and two brothers named Bo Herak. Jake accumulated a large pack of dogs as a result throughout the years. But before Mountain Men Season 10, supporters were worried that he had lost two of his most dependable dogs (Henry and Clutch). With each winter bringing fresh and terrible challenges, Jake’s skill at running lions keeps him busy.

The ranch was established by the William Rhodes family in the early 1900s. It was operated as a purebred Shorthorn Cattle and Hampshire Sheep ranch.
