Meet 90 Day Fiance Eutris, Shaeeda Sween’s Friend
Eutris from 90 Day Fiance appeared on the show as Shaeeda Sween‘s BFF. The former sat down with Shaeeda’s husband Bilal Hazziez. Eutris was Shaeeda’s best friend, thus he didn’t share Bilal’s opinion that their relationship was none of Eutris’ business.
Since Bilal first met Shaeeda, he had shown signs of suspicion about her motives and a lack of unequivocal trust. She was originally put to the test when he took her to his dilapidated boyhood home rather than his opulent mansion and even made her sign a pre-nuptial contract before the wedding.
Shaeeda, however, refused to sign the prenuptial agreement without including a few provisions that would work in her favor. She even forced Bilal to make a guarantee that he would assist her in starting a family and a company once they were married. Unfortunately, once they got married, Bilal seemed to break his word and began announcing one justification after another.
The Trinidad and Tobago native was dissatisfied with her husband’s actions because it was quite clear on the show that he didn’t want to have a child with Shaeeda. Nevertheless, the two managed to get along and decided to travel to New York City, where Shaeeda would meet her best friend of 18 years, Eutris.
Eutris met up with Bilal and Shaeeda for dinner while she was in New York City for work at the time the scene was being filmed. The three participated in a friendly small conversation at the beginning of the lunch before things abruptly became tense. She learned about Bilal’s reluctance to begin a family, which seemed to infuriate her.
Eutris also said that he became very combative whenever she attempted to discuss Shaeeda’s marital problems with the US citizen. She eventually lost her anger as a result, and she and Bilal got into a heated argument.
“She’s coming out of the gate so aggressive and rude,” Bilal says of Eutris’ line of questioning. “The feeling that I have right now is Eutris seems like she doesn’t like me very well.” Eutris urges Bilal to pump the brakes a bit, saying, “I don’t think we should be so presumptuous.”
Bilal, nevertheless, decides to take the offensive rather than make accommodations for his wife’s British friend: “It sounds like you’re…what’s the word they say in London? Oh, nosy!””
Eutris is taken aback, responding, “Nosy, really? You think I’m snotty?” Bilal, clearly enjoying the back-and-forth, says, “Oooh, I didn’t say that. But you said it! That’s interesting.”
Shaeeda made her best effort to maintain control of the situation as she spoke her opinion in front of everyone in the restaurant. The following day, Eutris met with Shaeeda alone and gave her an explanation for why she had become angry at supper. The British national didn’t seem to like Shaeeda’s spouse, and Bilal seemed to share that opinion.
“We’re only ten minutes into the conversation and Bilal’s making me feel uncomfortable,” Eutris says outside of the restaurant. “I don’t know what I would have done. But now, meeting him and the way he’s reacted to me, I don’t know if he’s trying to mask something?”
Shaeeda’s dishonesty with herself worries Eutris, who says as much, saying, “I’m really worried that maybe she’s overlooking some personality that he may have that might be a problem in the future, and she’s just not aware of it.”
After Eutris’s appearance on the show, she earned both admirers and critics. While some admired her straightforward attitude, others didn’t think that Shaeeda should have a company like Eutris.
“You sound like you’re being very evasive,” Eutris says to Bilal. “That you have things you don’t want me to ask you. A little bit uncomfortable ‘cause you don’t know where I’m going to go with the conversation?”
