‘I had a very bad pain in my head and I started bleeding from my mouth and nose,’ Ljubicic, 69, said, speaking in her native Serbian at her home in the nation’s capital, Belgrade. ‘I was crying for help. He heard me. He called my daughter and drove me to the hospital.’
In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, Milanka Ljubicic revealed that Brian Walshe immediately dropped everything and hurried her to the hospital, where she had to spend a month recovering.
‘I can say he saved my life then and that is why I can’t believe he is responsible – I just can’t believe it.’
Milanka also said Brian would not let his wife take their three sons with her to Washington. It increased Ana’s sense of loneliness and isolation. At one point, she claimed, Ana didn’t see her children for almost an entire year because she was away so much. ‘She was upset because she was traveling but she didn’t blame him.’

One of Brian Walshe’s many legal troubles was the conflict over his father’s fortune. Walshe was charged with fraud in October 2018 after a federal grand jury accused him of allegedly selling two bogus Andy Warhol pieces.

In April 2021, Brian was placed under house arrest after he pleaded guilty to a count of wire fraud, interstate transportation for a scheme to defraud, possession of converted goods, and unlawful monetary transaction.
