Wilber Milhouse and Fenwa Milhouse tied the knot back in May 2012 at The Blackstone Hotel in Chicago. And fast forward to over a decade later, the two are still married (as of 2023).

According to Fenwa, her husband was the most important person in her life. However, this didn’t mean that the relationship was easy for them. “My husband and I have definitely had more heated arguments lately but we always try to get back to the fundamentals- God and our love for each other,” she said.

Also, thanks to COVID-19, their relationship took a hit in 2020. “The Coronavirus pandemic has added another layer of stress for relationships and marriages. ⁣This added stress can be hard to deal with constructively at times. Couples can lash out at one another or turn to unhealthy habits to cope,” she explained.

But the duo kept the fire burning, heading out for date nights and staying positive more than ever. Also, Fenwa said that remembering how they first met kept the bond strong between them. “May our words be kind and our thoughts gracious. May we remain humble enough to ask for forgiveness and wise enough to freely give,” she wished on Valentine’s Day 2020.

For those who don’t know, Fenwa is the star of Dr Down Below star. She is a  board-certified, fellowship-trained urologist and specialist in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. This Nigerian-born urologist grew up in Texas and studied urology at the University of Texas medical school. After graduation, she then joined the University of Chicago Medical Center as a physician and worked there for almost 15 years until March 2023.

Wilber Milhouse shares a daughter with his wife Fenwa. She turned 10 in 2023 and was homeschooled.

Also, Wilber has two more kids named Tyler Félice, and Wilber Milhouse Jr. from his previous marriage with Tina Milhouse. They turned 21 and 23 years of age respectively in 2023.

All over the country, school is resuming. Most teachers are adjusting to teaching their students remotely. Some teachers are still in the classroom and teaching our kids with the possible risks of getting Coronavirus. ⁣”

Also, she took the time to appreciate all the teachers from all over the world as their job certainly wasn’t easy even before the pandemic. “Zoom class just isn’t the same as an in-person class. But we know you are doing the best you can still educate your students. Thank you.,” she added.

Reportedly, Wilbe made around $65 thousand per annum as a teacher.

But Wilber’s not just a teacher, he’s also a house husband. Yes, while Fenwa was busy at the hospital, he took care of household stuff. And for this, Fenwa feels beyond blessed to have found him. “He is fortunately very selfless and understanding and happens to cook and clean.  I could not have married a needy, lazy man. Because the reality is that after working on my feet and thinking all day, I am lazy,” she said.

Also, her “laziness” was the reason their marriage suffered once. They even ended up going to counseling during Fenwa’s fellowship. Thankful, they were able to spend quality time fixing these issues.
