When Sheila was 6 years old, she first started wearing hearing aids. As David cannot talk or read lips, she is currently learning ASL so that she may communicate with him. According to the Season 6 trailer, David and Sheila might encounter a few snags because Sheila’s 12-year-old son struggles to interact with David.
“What if my son cannot connect with David because he is deaf,” she told producers.
Unfortunately, because they both maintain a low profile on social media, it’s difficult to tell if these two are still dating. Although David has an Instagram, there aren’t any postings on it, and there are only four followers. Sheila doesn’t use Instagram, but it’s possible that she uses Facebook because she and David first connected on a dating app for deaf people.
